The Runion family founded Agri of Virginia, Inc. in 1972 and continues to operate the company today at 401 Broadway Avenue. Agri is a retail business specializing in building materials and hardware, poultry equipment, landscape accessories, fence supplies, and greenhouse bench systems. A-V nesting and feeding systems for poultry and A-V bench systems for horticulture were designed by the Runion family and are marketed and shipped nationwide. In business over 30 years, Agri of Virginia still does business with a personal touch – no answering machines or voice mail.
